Peddi worldwide box office collection day 2: Ram Charan’s Peddi hit theatres on Thursday to largely positive reviews. The sports drama, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, continues to dominate the box office, giving tough competition to other releases. On Saturday, the film saw an expected decline in earnings but remained steady, inching towards the Rs 100 crore mark in India and surpassing the Rs 150 crore mark worldwide.
Peddi box office collection: How did Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor’s film perform on day 2?
On Wednesday, Peddi grossed Rs 18.50 crore net from paid previews, contributing Rs 51 crore on Thursday, its release day. The film had a strong opening of Rs 69.50 crore, setting a record for Ram Charan. On Friday (day 2), Peddi witnessed a nearly 50% decline, which was expected considering it was a weekday and big-budget films tend to show a drop after a stellar opening. However, the film managed to rake in Rs 26 crore domestically, taking its India net collections to Rs 96.40 crore and India gross collections to Rs 114.49 crore.
On day 2, the film registered an overall occupancy of 17.04% with 29.85% during the morning, 48.15% in the afternoon, 57.08% in the evening and 60.15% in the night.

The film performed well at the International box office and grossed Rs 8 crore on day 2, taking its overseas gross to Rs 36 crore. This pushes the worldwide gross collection to Rs 150.49 crore.
Peddi is now set to surpass the lifetime collection of Charan’s previous release, Game Changer (Rs 186.28 crore) and Ranveer Singh-starrer 83 (Rs 193 crore). The film has already overtaken several recent Telugu hits like Kuberaa ( Rs 132 crore) and Anaganaga Oka Raju ( Rs 100 crore).
