Alpha box office day 1 prediction: Alia Bhatt, Sharvari Wagh, Bobby Deol’s spy thriller set for unexpected low opening, may likey earn Rs…

Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's Alpha is eyeing a steady Rs 7–8 crore opening at the box office, with advance bookings showing solid early interest for YRF Spy Universe's first female-led action thriller.

Alpha, the latest film in the YRF Spy Universe, is headed to theatres with early advance booking trends giving it a steady start. The female-led spy thriller stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the lead, with Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in important roles.

Alpha box office prediction day 1: How much will Alia Bhatt’s film earn?

Alpha is scheduled to release in cinemas on July 3. Directed by debutant Shiv Rawail, Alpha arrives as one of the most talked-about additions to the spy franchise. According to early trade estimates, Alpha has sold tickets worth around Rs 41.05 lakh for opening day across 10,293 Hindi 2D shows in India. With blocked seats included, its total advance booking collection currently stands at Rs 1.52 crore.

Where are the highest tickets sold?

Maharashtra has emerged as the strongest market so far, contributing Rs 34.76 lakh in advance bookings including blocked seats. Delhi follows with Rs 34.35 lakh, while Gujarat has also shown solid support with Rs 10.66 lakh. These numbers suggest healthy interest ahead of release, especially in key urban centres.

Will Alpha set a new milestone at the box office?

Based on current trends, Alpha is expected to open in the Rs 7-8 crore nett range at the Indian box office. That would place it above Alia Bhatt’s Jigra, which opened at Rs 4.55 crore, and in the vicinity of Raazi, which opened at over Rs 7 crore. Still, trade observers note that comparing it with massive male-led blockbusters like Ek Tha Tiger, War and Pathaan would not be entirely fair because of the difference in scale and star power.

About Alpha

Produced by Yash Raj Films, Alpha is an important release for the spy universe because it is the franchise’s first female-led action thriller. With advance sales now underway, the real test will begin once audience response kicks in after release. The final box office picture will become clearer over the opening weekend, but the early signs point to a respectable start.
