Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has returned to theatres as Georgekutty with Drishyam 3 and has captivated everyone with another suspenseful performance. According to the website Sacnilk, Drishyam 3 collected Rs 6.65 crore on day 7 (Wednesday). The movie has earned Rs 75.30 crore in total.
Apart from Mohanlal, the movie also stars Meena, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil. All the actors have reprised their roles from previous films.
Will there be Drishyam 4?
Even though Drishyam 4 has not been announced yet, Mohanlal hinted at the fourth part at an event. He said, “I have asked for Georgekutty to be saved multiple times, but he is still not saved. So you can expect a Drishyam 4 also. This is not a joke. Let people watch the film and let them decide whether we should do a sequel, like four or five.”
What’s the story of Drishyam 3?
In the third part, Georgekutty (played by Mohanlal) is seen going through guilt, regret and psychological fallout of his action that he took to protect his family. He is in a dilemma and sees himself as a criminal for his actions. Meanwhile, his enemies team up again to take revenge.
What happened at the end of Drishyam 3?
Geetha, Prabhakar, Sahadevan and Bastian team up again to take revenge on Georgekutty. Prabhakar traps Georgekutty’s daughter, Anju, and frames her for a crime she didn’t commit. Even Georgekutty is a step ahead of them; he is tired of everything and willingly goes to prison for Varun’s death. However, he warns everyone not to harm his family.
