The makers of Dragon have finally released the first glimpse of the much-anticipated pan-India spectacle, featuring Jr NTR in an action-packed avatar that instantly reminded fans of Prashanth Neel's previous blockbusters- Salaar and KGF. The first glimpse was unveiled minutes before Telugu star Jr NTR's birthday on May 19, marking a major moment for fans online.
Jr NTR's look in Dragon is his most violent avatar to date?
Jr NTR is introduced as Luger, the Assassin-in-Chief of the Afghan Trading Company, a ruthless killer amid a group of villains who aim to take over the control of the opium business. In one of the sequences from the teaser, the actor is seen standing on a mountain amid heaps of dead bodies, fearlessly taking down enemies with guns in hand.

When is Dragon set to release?
Written and directed by Prashanth Neel, Dragon marks his first collaboration with Jr NTR. Presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar under T-Series Films, the film’s music is composed by Ravi Basrur, whose powerful composition is expected to elevate the film’s grand narrative. Over the years, producer Bhushan Kumar has steadily expanded his creative footprint across the Indian film industry, from backing stories pictured on a larger scale to collaborating with some of the biggest names.
The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts and will release globally on 11th June, 2027. Jr NTR's Dragon is set to hit theatres in 5 languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
