Geetu Mohandas’ real name is Gayatri Das, and she is well known for her work in Malayalam cinema. She is known for her films like Liar's Dice and Moothoon.

What did Yash say about working with Geetu Mohandas?
Yash praised the filmmaker and also talked about bringing a female gaze to the project. He told American content creator and host Sabeen Faheem at CinemaCon, That's the most exciting part. So what happens is that when you generally say action films, it's only restricted to male directors. That's been historically true in India. A lot of people have done that. A large-scale action film, that too a gangster film with a female gaze, is something which is very new and refreshing."
"Thoughts are very clear, and she has a strong conviction in whatever she does. And she's a fabulous writer. I could learn so much, you know. The desire quotient or certain emotions, romance or sensuality-how a female can show, how a woman can present-is entirely different, which is what I've realised in this journey," he added.
When will Toxic release?
Toxic was supposed to release on June 4, 2026, but the makers decided to postpone the release date. The official release date of the film is not yet announced.
